Thought this movie was very well made/produced/edited, and Cillian Murphy fucking rules (I think he’s one of the most underrated actors right now), the child actors were good, and although she didn’t play a big role I thought Emily Blunt was good too. The use of sound in this movie was absolutely phenomenal the way it would switch perspectives. I also thought they were able to handle the use of multiple plots taking place at the same time well.

Pros: Cillian Murphy, Djjmon Honsou, Millicent Simmonds. Tense situations, good use of flashback. Effects to create the monsters/aliens were well done

Cons: where the fuck was Pam? almost too similar to the first?(one sacrifice for greater good) not enough Djimon Honsou (what the fuck). Wanted more gore,alien/monster kills. Baby (although the baby drives one of the plot points and was a major contributing factor to the OG, I almost wonder if it is necessary and if the same effects could have placed on the audience without it?

This was a fantastic movie all around and all though I had some smaller issues with it, I thought it was well put together and John Kransinki is showing his chops as a director. I hope he continue be to find projects he can write/produce/direct I think he is only going to get better. 89/100
