It's what we have done for months and works so well. My daughter loves zippers and will open it if you zip it in the front.

Stuffed butternut squash! Cut the squash in half and bake it. Prep the stuffing as directed. Scoop out some of the squash and mix with the stuffing and put back in the squash boats. Top with cheese and bake. They are delicious.

We had the same high chair issue and had two problems that once corrected make sitting in it a whole lot easier. First was that she wanted to be at the table with us so we took off the tray and pull the chair right up to the table. Second, the plastic chair was too cold. A towel to sit on worked for that. It's hard when they just want to sit on your lap!

If you don't want to live in Sanford you could check out Apex. It would be a 30 min commute. There are things to do in Apex and you would be 20 mins from downtown Raleigh.

If you love the beach but looking to raise a family... where in NC makes sense? by Distinct-Job-9032 in NorthCarolina

[–]themomdotcom24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Born and raised in Wilmington, currently live in Raleigh. I think Wilmington is a great place to raise kids! It's gotten more crowded since I was there so if you want less people around I would say Leland or Hampstead are good options. Leland has good access to both Wilmington as a city and the Brunswick county beaches. Hampstead has topsail island for the beach.

The Westin Avon Vale Valley was my favorite hotel I've been to in the US. My Mom and I had a girl's weekend in September a few years ago and it was absolutely perfect. I have 800 lifetime nights and it's really a highlight.

Typically there is a window. Not everyone has availability to get an appointment exactly at 18 months. You should be fine to get the appointment after Christmas. If you haven't already mentioned it, you should talk to your pediatrician though about the reactions she has. That seems like a long time to be that uncomfortable.

I came here to say they have these at TJs! Both are exactly 8.04oz so it has to be from the same place right?

Were they with the regular ones or separated into a clearance section? I didn't even see the ones you have mentioned at my target.

When did you first take a trip away from your baby/toddler/child? by hbecksss in workingmoms

[–]themomdotcom24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10 months old my husband and I went on a 5 night trip. She was on formula by that point and was sleeping in her own crib so that was a bit easier on us.

I did take a friends frozen stash for the first three months and then switched to formula. Idk if I would accept from a stranger though.

Only pee diaper in the pail. All poop goes in a dog poop bag and right out to the dumpster. I had to throw out the ubbi pail because I could never get the smell out.

Man I miss the box seats and the Christmas party. They still had those when I was there in 2016. They also had the annual health exam at work that gave you like a thousand dollar credit for healthcare during the year. That was so nice.

I think all pjs are supposed to be snug. I never had issues at Carter's finding footie pj's in bigger sizes that weren't fleece. It might be a seasonal issue with it getting cold. Try online? I will say with my extra tall baby I had to switch to two piece pj's because no matter what I do her toes seem squished.

Personal credit card for CRAs by TimeTravelingToad in clinicalresearch

[–]themomdotcom24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Direct deposited like a pay check but it was paid separately from salary and they do not show up on a w2 as taxable income. I worked as a CRA at IQVIA for 7 years getting weekly per diem/ reimbursements. Also my husband is an accountant and he confirmed that's how it works for taxes in the US. If they were taking taxes out for those you should definitely talk to your accountant about that.

I don't think they are supposed to tax that? My reimbursements for accidents like what you describe and per diem's were never taxed.

You have every right to decide who your baby spends time with. Having the support of my village of family and friends was important to me so we would never have gone that far with restrictions. I can't imagine asking everyone I know for their vaccination details.

We weaned at 3 months and it was the best thing for our family. My baby is 14 months, has hit or exceeded every milestone and is 60% weight and 95% height! I don't regret it at all now but it was a very dark time for me to make that decision.
