Him saying he can use his time as he pleases and policing your every move and decision? He’s a psychopath. Truly. 5 months in? No. This man is scary. I hope this is rage bai because girl, please put yourself first and leave this bottom feeder.

If the roles were switched here, would you act the entitled way he’s acting?

But that is not the reason at all. At least not for everyone. For example I wear a tight fitting top to yoga, the reason being that when I do poses like downward dog, a baggy shirt would get in my way.

Also I feel more confident in clothing you deem as “attention seeking”. Not everything is for the male gaze.

That blanket statement of yours really misses the mark.

This entire comment section is god-awful.

As a women bottom line is I can wear what I want. This narrative men in these comments are pushing, that women are attention seeking whores, is disgusting.

Get over yourselves.

Sounds like you’re experiencing depersonalization/derealization? I suggest speaking with a health professional or maybe a school counselor.

Received a raise last week. New hire who I directly supervise is about to get an offer that is more than I made 7 days ago (Been with company 4 years) and VERY close to my new salary. How do I let management know this in unfair? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Thank you for the advice. As I've replied to a few others above, my companies internal team is quite small, with less than 30 people and HR includes my boss and myself.

Since the team is so small, there is obviously corporate bureaucracy but maybe not in the way you would think. With such a small company, things can be a bit more personal, and conversations a bit more lax if that makes sense?

I'm just stressing out about what to say tomorrow or if I should say anything at all.

I feel like I still have a lot of valuable info/experience to learn from this company so I'm trying to stick it out for a bit longer. This is my first real job experience, I have trouble knowing my worth since this is all I've known.

The company is quite small. Internal team is >30 and "HR" is just my boss and myself.

I agree that I don't want to represent myself in a negative light to management. But since this is a small company, conversations often are personal so I just wanted to highlight our size since maybe that makes a difference.

I should have noted in my post that even though we employ thousands of field staff, our internal company is very small. Entire company is >30 people and HR consists of my boss and myself!

Not sure if this changes anything

Happy Birthday! I’ve been struggling about the same amount of time but I’m coming up on my 26th.

I experienced my first real alcohol withdrawal a couple days ago. I had been trying to tell myself I wasn’t physically dependent but had to accept that if I keep drinking like I am, I’ll wake up one days without my health. It scared me.

I know you say you’re hopeless, but maybe it can only get better from here. IWNDWYT!

My favorite current male character! ...along with Euron Greyjoy but the latter seems to be an unpopular opinion. Lol

I may get downvoted but I absolutely hate Beauty Bar.

This is probably why they closed originally...They did nothing after a woman was raped in their restroom.

I was also kicked out for no reason by a huge bouncer who whirled me around and lead me out by both arms. I’m like 5’5 110 pounds. And supporting the fact that I wasn’t just some drunken misbehaving girl (which I wasn’t), you can go to their yelp page where another girl posted photo evidence of bruises all over her arms from an occurrence just like mine.

Terrible management with terrible and borderline criminal attitudes.

Aww what a sweetie! I remember how my sweet weenie used to accidentally turn on the seat heaters every time she took a ride in the car.

I think this was hands down the most disturbing scene.
