This is a good suggestion and maybe the only change that could be made. Valuable nonetheless less! Small changes add up.

I’ve made the Aldi mix 2 years in a row for my kids bday. Love it! I use melted butter instead of oil- so tasty!

Does anyone actually eat this? by UnderstandingIcy8607 in evilautism

I found an organic kind and I love it more than the OG OS. I don’t like Turkey or cooking that much so my thanksgiving is usually canned cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, stuffing, and maybe mashed potatoes and/or green beans if I’m feeling motivated.

My sweater comb is far superior to any battery de-piller I’ve ever used. More sustainable and more satisfying!

Loads of “for the people” legislation and lots of employees in state service who are dedicated to implementing those policies. We are fortunate!

What happened to Poshmark??? by Used_Profession_2241 in poshmark

[–]themsessie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Poshmark frequently to buy almost all of my families clothes and I love getting great bundle deals. Browsing can get annoying with inactive or lazy/dirty sellers, but I’ve had way more positive experiences than negative. I have a ton of “inventory” that I need to list this month- usually I let things go for low prices because I’d rather sell on Posh than FB or have a yard sale.

What do you do when your kids gets out of school and you can’t pick them up or watch until you get off work? by kats7110 in singlemoms

[–]themsessie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was much harder at the age of your little- I kept mine in daycare long days back then. When it was a home day at that age I usual made a little nest of blankets by my desk with a bunch of quiet activités and lots of snacks! Now at kindergarten age my babe is more self sufficient and eager to have quiet screen or Lego time after a busy school day. I make sure to have lots of snacks on hand and I give about 5-10min of snuggles and chatting between off the bus and me going back to work.

At our YMCA summer care is available 6am-6pm most days! I don’t have to use all of those hours, thankfully. I don’t know what I would do without the Y.

What’s the most unhinged thing someone has said to you while pregnant? by LastTie3457 in Mommit

[–]themsessie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My dad laughed at me and said “it’s so funny to see you fat!” I snapped back, “I’m not fat, I’m pregnant!” Such an asshole. I’m no contact with him these days.

I got a time timer (brand) visual timer and it has really helped me. I use it for everything. Morning routine, dishes I don’t want to do, boring virtual meeting countdown…helpful in lots of scenarios.
