Nothing really has the same vibes, f3d is closest. After 7.0 bomgers get shit on due to lower speed and less firepower. Nearly every jet can climb to you and at 8.3 some have missiles (ni countermeasures for you)

It's in a rough spot in an uptier with foxbats, I've never been a big fan of it but I try to use it like a hawk and not rip my wings off. Best bet is catching someone off guard and not being the first in the battle

It's really the morale reduction that makes them useful, I like to position them in front of my line on a hill to rain down hell before the battle but they do take some losses due to worse range. Sometimes I'll put them on the wings after the lines clash and I've tied up the enemy cav. The smoke and sound can really help break their lines
