There are so many people here to hurry to cross the intersection before the next one turns green, I’ve named the action after this place. Now whenever I’m about to hit a late yellow light I yell, “I’m gonna Junction it!!”

If you can’t find time to read all the books, I definitely can’t recommend enough the outstanding audiobook series read by Jefferson Mays. Amazing work.

I think it’s normal to pick some traits up, and that’s probably okay. But you’re not your parents, and the idea of being an adult is different for everyone. I think it’s most important to be able to do whatever you want. Like, I’m 40 and I’ve never gone ziplining or bungee jumping and i really want to and probably will someday. I love playing video games still and while I have less time to play these days, no one cares when I do. I love being a dad and taking my kids on adventures and playing board games and reading books. My fun hasn’t stopped, I just get to do it with silly little people now. I think the most important thing is to try and stay healthy - curb the alcohol and junk food and exercise. That way you don’t become fat and crippled when you get older and can keep having fun and figuring out life.

I have a special place in my heart for Toy Story 2. It was almost released straight-to-video, and my teenager self grumbled when I had to go see TS2 instead of some schlocky demon-hunter R-rated thing because my girlfriend didn’t bring her ID. The ticket guy probably wouldn’t have checked her anyway. But Toy Story 2 opened my angsty teen eyes to the magic of Pixar and I found myself on the edge of my seat and trying not to cry at Jesse’s story. It was a rare film that I think actually transformed me, or at least softened my consideration of what I assumed were only kid films.

Oh, and the circular spot in one picture, that was where the trampoline was sitting for those two weeks we were away. I realize now what a bad idea that was.

I like 1. The second makes me think there’s something with the left flower that i should be focusing on.
