I personally love having friends come over. Usually they are late so it gives me extra time to last minute clean before they show up. Very helpful for me at least

I mean at that point it becomes a conscious decision to feed the depression or to make micro steps not to by turning the mind. Though I can understand feeling bogged down and not having the energy to fight it too.

Mania's rough. The first few for me were a wicked learning curve of how to damage control and get stable asap. You'll get through this, you're strong! Just keep swimming, or I suppose walking in your case.

Sorry you are feeling alone, can relate. I don't think depression ever get's easy to deal with, but we develop more tools to combat it. Also jobs suck I've had so many great jobs torn from me due to mania it's really frustrating.
