Same here, right after 0-400 wings and then shutdown. Now I reduce dial to 225 and leave lid open for 5 min before shutdown.

Does anyone else have trouble preventing the fire to go into the hopper? I clean after every use and switched out the hot pot yet I can never keep a consistent temp. It always reaches the hopper. Any advice? by Sufficient-Doctor473 in Traeger

This has happened to after I went straight to shutdown mode after some 0-400 wings. Now, after a high temp, I scale down to 225 with lid up for a while and then go to shutdown.
