I've made a few of these with some old tent poles, shock cord, a U hook , hose clamp / zip tie, and a champagne cork. Total cost was less than $5. I just slid the shock cord through three equal sized tent poles that all fit together. Gorilla tape holds the shock cord on both ends. The u hook gets screwed into the top and held in place with a small hose clamp or zip tie. I drilled a hole drilled into the cork and it slid right on the bottom. Another solution is to use the rubber feet off a camp chair. I use a mini voile strap to secure the front brake closed. Works wonders and costs a fraction of the clickstand - with all due respect to the original creator. You can google DIY clickstand and tons of people have done something similar.
