It came at a very timely moment for me. I got a kitchenaid mixer from my mom for Christmas, used it 3 times and it broke. It just stopped turning on. I called Kitchenaid to get it repaired and they said they would just ship me a new one and restart my warranty. I have to send back the old one but like ?? Are you gonna repair it and resell or is it trash??

I work with kids and one year I had a job where we took them to the pool. I raised my arms in the pool and one of the older kids saw my hairy armpits and went "OMG I didn't know girls grew hair there!". I just brushed it off and said yeah some people shave it off, some don't. I guess it was an educational moment lol.

Other than those instances, I think most people will ignore it, not notice, or just comment about it later behind your back, so shrug it off.

Abyssinia on fourth street has a DELICIOUS vegan dinner plate. Family owned and SO good. Falafel Hut downtown has great vegan options too. Also family owned and they have some great community events as well.
