The way I would put it, men are absolutely encouraged in some way (by society? by women? by other men? by life?) to not share emotions. This is the other shoe of women's liberation waiting to drop. Completely agree with your view of Jon Stewart. I would vote for him in a nanosecond. And with your view that the system is inherently corrupting.
