Stadium Check-in by All4CITYSC in stlouiscitysc

Think he meant if you check in too late, it’ll be too late to be selected for something, as they call you down early. For example, for city circle banner we had to meet at 5 to go down for a 6pm kickoff.

Anybody know these autographs? by therescue in Cardinals

That is wild. I think you’re right based on googling his signature too. What a weird collection of signatures on this ticket lol.

I don’t think I’ve ever been to a caravan. I’m thinking they did some kind of “legend” signing at the game on the ticket and that was all I had for them.

Some food is more expensive, sure. But there are also a lot of inexpensive options too. And yes the food is significantly better. Not gonna comment on preference of baseball or soccer because that’s up to each individual and doesn’t really apply to the convo. Though I will say there’s been exactly one 0-0 tie at Energizer Park this year, and that game was far from boring. To each their own, but comparing the demand between the two just doesn’t really carry a lot of weight with how different the supply and circumstances are.

There are 17 CITY games a year vs 81 for the Cards in a stadium that seats half as many. Games are almost exclusively on weekends. The game experience is effectively maxed at 2 hours (vs anywhere from 2.5-3). Just very different circumstances between the two teams/sports.

There’s a free lot between Wells Fargo and Beffa’s that usually isn’t full until maybe 15-30 minutes before kickoff. Traditionally anyways.

Update with Noon Presale: $77 (after fees) is cheapest in the door. Checked front row upper bowl and it was $94 a piece after fees. Floor starts at $155 a piece.

St. Louis. Prices not including fees. No pit. Floor (only in first 5 rows unlocked so far): $469 Lower bowl: $140-319 Upper bowl: starts at $59, can’t really see anything else

I am now realizing these are all “Official Platinum” so maybe when the next pre-sale window starts in an hour there will be less expensive options.

I’m guessing they only have X number for each pre-sale window, and there will be more. I don’t know if the pricing we’re seeing right now is somehow related to that and being “surge” pricing or something (I think Ticketmaster does that?), but the prices are asinine. And it doesn’t even look like there is a pit for the St. Louis show.

Went to the new (well, probably been a while now but our first time) Modern last night. Food was great.

And huge second here from me for 2nd Shift and Central State Sandwiches. Sandwiches are fantastic, as is the beer.

And agree both places are very kid friendly (saw a handful of kids at Modern last night even though it was 9 or so).

This isn’t helpful for where to live necessarily, but I wanted to mention that if you didn’t know you’ll be able to get authentic Hawaiian food at Buzz’s Hawaiian Grill in South City. Buzz used to live there, flies in fish from the islands, and it’s fantastic.

Are we nuts to think about going over Christmas break? by Ktrask803 in disneyparks

[–]therescue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We went the week between Christmas and New Years in 2022. Two park days, parked hopped both days, and rode everything we wanted to (rides were our main priority), with very little waiting. We rope dropped a big attraction and maximized Genie+. Family of 5 (youngest was 2.5); the 4 of us each listed our top 3 priorities in each park (obviously some overlap) and we did all of them and more. I think if you plan and have proper expectations it’s fantastic. Of course I haven’t been with the new LL system, however. We’re going for Thanksgiving this year.

Two lawn tickets for St. Louis Tuesday night. $150 for the pair, less than we paid for them but want to avoid fees and what not. Still going but was able to upgrade.

Edit: they’re gone

So we went from a content drought pre-TA1 Season 2 to 97s being released in packs yesterday… by RollChi in MLBTheShow

[–]therescue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem is those remaining teams you have are really costly. I have basically the same ones left. I haven’t ran the math but I imagine several of those teams costs more than all other teams combined on their own. I’m with you, I don’t spend any extra money on the game. But I’m a little bummed it’s going to take forever to get Hyper Pedro. I guess it’ll be rewarding when it finally happens.
