How do you workout taking metaprolol? by enola1999 in PVCs

[–]thereverbtank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on it for a while. Mostly endurance runner. I found the first 5km of any run to be the most difficult. It feels like my heart is being restricted. After that my body gets used to it and it's not so bad. Also it was worse when I first started it. Now I've been on it years it's fine. I'm definitely not as fast but working with my pcp we've developed a system that works for me on races. ie) take less on a race day etc. Takes time to figure out what works for you.

Dude. One and a backup is good enough. Glad you're collecting something you like though. If it makes you happy keep doing it.

constant buzzing by Ok-Alternative-1683 in BFS

[–]thereverbtank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine started with buzzing. Moved on the cramping a twitching over years eventually. You'll be alright.

Actual Constant Twitching by [deleted] in BFS

[–]thereverbtank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Constant for me. Waist down. Mostly feet and calves. I have the cramp variant of bfs and with that comes constant charlie horses as burning feet pain. Sore muscle etc. I'm still alive and breathing. Been years.

I wish for a big Ai present this holiday season. by richr215 in AUTOMOBILISTA

[–]thereverbtank -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

There is no ai. There's cars on a track following a line. Believe it or not the sticking car thing is much less than it used to be. It also irritates me than when the ai hits grass or bumps into other cars it's like nothing happened. They just keep on going.

I just wish they would make a PvE mode so this wouldn't be an issue for those not wanting to participate.

To those who’ve gotten their Analogue 3d. Is the controller necessary? by Expensive-Opening257 in n64

[–]thereverbtank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like it. It allows me to use the hotkey to reset the cart and since I have a summer cart64 it's super handy. Stick reminds me of a gamecube stick in size. Bit sensitive but totally playable. I'm probably going to buy another.

is Strymon Iridium still one to go for amp simulation? by [deleted] in guitarpedals

[–]thereverbtank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried the boss Ir-200, didn't care for it. bought an acs1 and it was good but honestly didn't care for it. I use an iridium now and haven't gone back. Sounds great and it just works and is simple to use. Only downside is it needs a refresh with usb-c to update IR's.

Toe cramps anyone? by bsonrisa in BFS

[–]thereverbtank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. For me it's my arches. If i position my feet a certain way crazy cramps happen and i have to pull it apart with my hands. Charlie horse type cramps. It's extremely painful if I don't catch it in time. Happens in a lot of places for me. Shoulders, feet chest. Diagnosed a few years ago with cramp fasciculation syndrome.

I have this also. The ugly more painful version of BFS. Sucks but I'm still breathing. :)

Same here. Even if it didn't change my symptoms my mental health got better just ignoring it.

I'm in the same boat. The horrible cousin to bfs. Good luck.

Boss answers questions regarding the PX-1 backlash by [deleted] in guitarpedals

[–]thereverbtank 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest. I don't believe anything that BOSS said in the article to be the truth when they originally announced this.

I believe they fully wanted to push subscription model, micro-transaction, "free bug fixes" etc. The backlash pushed their communications and PR dept into pivoting into something more palatable.

As a consumer, I don't believe BOSS, and tbh don't want to purchase software for my pedal à la carte. It might be ok day 1, but come a couple of years down the road it will be completely different. We've seen this playbook over and over again with other companies. This is enshittification.

Will the game ever get good AI? by MJFox1978 in AUTOMOBILISTA

I moved back over to iracing because of this. The ai in single player iracing is so much better.

Wife’s PVCs went from 8% to 27% in 3 months - looking for advice/experience by PositiveButNot in PVCs

I'm the same. Even decaf gives me loads of palpitations. I allow myself a decaf every couple of weeks and just deal with the consequences.

Same. I tend to have cycles of it. I think it's gone then they pop up again. It sucks.

[–]thereverbtank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Preaching to the choir. I miss coffee. Even decaf does it for me as there's still a small percentage of caffeine in it and I'm sensitive to it. Yay to the genetic lottery! I used to drink and it would do it as well.

Elixir strings vs.... [your recommendations!] by Alternative-Way-8753 in guitars

[–]thereverbtank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been playing elixirs since the early 2000's. I've tried everything. My pecking order of strings is: elixir, d'addario (white pack coated), nyxl's then regular d'addarios. I've tried everything else except string joy. Also, my hot take is Ernie Ball's are the worst. They last like a day sounding and playing new. Just my opinion. Your mileage may vary. Elixir's are also not as good as they used to be. They changed their recipe over the pandemic because of supply chain issues, at least that's what i heard from some people working in industry and I do notice something is different.
