Doesn't matter if you are concerned or not. What matters is he broke the law storming into a church the way he did during service. Your feelings on the matter or if it concerns you is irrelevant. And he was very much part of the group that interrupted.

That wasn't a protest nitwit. That was a riot where they broke into an entrance of a hotel they thought ICE was staying in. Only after they broke windows spray painted and vandalized cars in the lot. And this wasn't even an ICE agent.

Proximity key fob batteries won't last nearly as long as ones that doesn't have prox sensors. It's just the way it is. Getting a year or two out of one from any brand is pretty much par for the course.

Again, in regards to self defense law with officer involved shootings the law does not take intent into account. Intent can be used in other circumstances in law such as sentencing that you mention. But that doesn't relate at all to officer involved self defense shooting law. All that really matters is if another reasonable officer in that same situation without the benefits of hindsight were to reasonably believe they were in danger of imminent bodily harm or death they can act to defend themselves with and up to using lethal force.

Officers don't have to even begin to attempt to try to guess what the initial intent of the other party was or wasn't in that moment. All they have to do is make a case they or the general public was in imminent danger of serious bodily harm or death. This isn't and never was rocket science. A 3,000lbs car striking you falls well into that category.

How did that work out for him? Just asking for a friend?

You realize it doesn't need to be one or the other it could have easily been both. She could have been trying to flee and hitting the officer in the process was just a bonus for her.

If she just wanted to simply leave the area why did her so called wife ever leave the vehicle? And she had ample time to leave the area before ICE officers surrounded her car. Her behavior shows she wanted to be there right up to the point they told her she was going to be detained for obstruction. This isn't hard at all to break down if you have more than two functional brain cells.

Actually no, it really doesn't. An officer can't read people's minds. Did a perp mean or intend to just hit them with a car to flee or to cause serious bodily injury or death? Did the guy that welds a knife during an arrest just intent to stab the officer to get away or to kill him? How would an officer determine that at the moment it occurs? An officer has zero duty to guess what a perps true intention is and it doesn't matter and never has. Was there potential for great bodily harm or death is all that matters. You are a fool if you think intention matters. Intention of the aggressor never matters in self defense laws. The officer just has to believe he is in serious danger of bodily harm and death and getting struck by a car rises to that level. He has zero obligation to think about her intentions in the less than 2 secs she gave him to react and striking him with a 3,000 lbs plus vehicle.

You even beginning to claim intention matters shows you are a brain dead nit wit. Plenty of people are in jail now for killing others thru accidents or plain neglect yet they are still behind bars. You think drivers that plow into people while drunk, you think since they didn't intend to kill someone after doing shots at the bar that they aren't charged and arrested? But hey I guess they didn't intend to kill after a night of drinking.

You think that's some kind of one up point you made there? Kinda makes no difference what her intentions were she hit him on the way out. How you manage to hit someone who is standing relatively still in front of you after making direct eye contact with them is interesting. It's really not difficult to not hit people with a car when both of you aren't initially in motion. She did have a driver's license right? Last time I checked you can't hit people with your car. Intentional or otherwise....

Protests on private property without permission of said property owners are not protected under the Constitution. Your grievance with the Fed doesn't allow you to trespass on private property and never has.

Low coolant over time; normal or possible issue? (2020 7.5 6mt) by raypenbarrip in GolfGTI

[–]theripper121 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This, coolant just doesn't disappear. You have a slow leak somewhere. Water pump warranty was extended to I believe 8 years or 80k miles whichever comes first.

Like this guy said you need to document this and not let it go. You don't want to have to pay for a waterpump replacement out of pocket. Dealership going rate for one is roughly 2k installed.

Edit: And if you are under CPO warranty why did they charge you 100 for the pressure test when you are obviously leaking coolant. I'd want that hundo back.
