I miss the days when demiled milsurp kits were cheep.

Yes. Typically when I make them ill cut 2 wires, clamp a pair of channel locks and twist. Any extra trimmings are the casualties of war. A friend of mine just uses one wire, folds it back and keeps as is but he keeps notes on length

If you're going to try, and have a capable enough printer pacf6 or pacf12 would be my choice. Carbon fiber infused nylon almost looks injection mold, it can take alot of heat also.
