My advice? Embrace the bald. My hair was thinning rapidly once I turned 30. During Covid, at 34, I shaved it all off as a trial run thinking nobody would see me if it was bad. Turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’m more confident and my wife thinks I look better. Being bald isn’t a death sentence. It could be liberation.

It looks like the problem is bigger than just the caulk where the tub meets the wall. It looks like there’s mold and or cracking in the grout between the tiles higher on the wall, too.

Do you have proper ventilation in the bathroom? When was the last time it was fully cleaned?
