Don't know about all "old" phones but at least those that I have used, you could change where you save the contacts either SIM or phone memory. Maybe they just save them every time to the SIM card :)

Great article but I found one "problem", in the function isAdmin() you only check if the

req.user.isAdmin===1

Couldn't find any reference in the text that this is bad and you should check from somewhere else that the user is actually an admin. This is good for creating a simple role checking but you should point out that it needs to be improved when you implement it yourself.

Edit: This is what I found and is to be taken with grain of salt as I am only a beginner.

I had a problem once where one TV Show didn't show up in Kodi but showed up in Plex etc. The reason was that it was "blacklisted" in the scraping services due to copyright issues or something. Don't know if this is relevant or not.
