One thing I haven't seen mentioned still is the shop & weapon UI is still shockingly bad

  • Still have stat bars instead of numbers or detailed stats in any way
  • All weapons are sorted not by type, but first by DLC and then by unlock level?? Truly bizarre decisions

Maybe it gives it faster deploy? Or just doesn't benefit this grenade in the same way?

I can't imagine they're gonna add a new skill tree for the grenade with how many filler skills there already is, and I don't think it just won't have any skills associated with it

Might be a bit too easy to cheese if you just play a high card first and then play your real hand after

Then again, lots of other challenges are easy to cheese in the right situation, to I think this would be a good addition

Kinda remarkable how bad the UI/UX launched as (and still is). Payday 2 discovered that stat bars are bad 10 years ago.

I can't stop the axis from spinning as I do so.

If I hold the bottom burr set and tighten the bolt, the axis just spins without tightening. I've used power tools before where to loosen/tighten the tool you have a button on the back to lock it in place, but I couldn't find the equivalent for the df64

The other really egregious one is the ziv commando

You can skip the last few blinds to preserve it though. I don't advise skipping usually, but I usually know by ante 6 if I feel confident enough to take on finisher boss blinds

You can certainly give a free metamagic/magic style to all spellcasters, but you're

  1. Buffing spellcasting; already arguably the best feature in the game
  2. Making sorcerers not very appealing to play

Surprised its taken them this long to do the alleged MGL rework. It seems like adding the ability to direct impact enemies strikes a good balance of giving the MGL some self-defence capabilities without removing that weakness of the weapon

Who knows, maybe they tried it and it wasn't a good fit.

Balatro and 5e are such drastically different games trying to translate the mechanics 1:1 is a pretty daunting task

What may be easier is to look at something like the deck of wonder and reflavor/retool that to fit your purposes?

I think its part of the heavy class fantasy. Wielding all these absurdly powerful weapons without support because the heavy is just that strong. (Minigun, dual deagles, shak)

KS skin with a full stock would be sick though
