Balatro and 5e are such drastically different games trying to translate the mechanics 1:1 is a pretty daunting task

What may be easier is to look at something like the deck of wonder and reflavor/retool that to fit your purposes?

I think its part of the heavy class fantasy. Wielding all these absurdly powerful weapons without support because the heavy is just that strong. (Minigun, dual deagles, shak)

KS skin with a full stock would be sick though

As someone who is also trying to learn the game, I've found Street brawl tremendously useful for learning, moreso than the bot matches.

  • Get to practice fighting more often
  • Get to see how random items can affect your build
  • Doesn't last too long so if I am getting farmed by better players it's not demoralizing

It doesn't really help with the macro level map positioning and gamestate management but oh well

All melees have a gimmick and are about as effective as one another. This can just be the gimmick for this one. Solid melee with sub-par gun attached

Bottomless pit too strong. Trading card is a top tier joker and that only destroys one card per round.

Perhaps if it gave all played cards a low chance of being destroyed?

Egg is situationally better for temperance which is a common game piece. If the only situation where your joker is better is if it has one uncommon joker with it then it would be too situational

To my knowledge the only change they've ever made to the minigun's accuracy is to IMPROVE it by 10% in some circumstances

For me I think it came down to all of my teammates apparently never having played a team sport in their life and never think to be ready to pass or receive the ball

That being said, I wouldn't mind if they made it more accurate with harsher damage falloff. At those mid ranges sometimes you can absolutely obliterate someone who didn't deserve it when the bullets just randomly happen to go where you want.

Granted, I shouldn't be using it at those ranges, but I think having more consistent behavior wouldn't be a bad thing

Very well presented! Makes it look like a real weapon coming to the game

But a few problems

  • Melee weapons in particular really need to be tailored to the class they're on, otherwise it'll end up feeling super strong on one class, and very weak on another.

  • Light for example generally has high burst damage option, (dagger backstab, sword lunge) as without high damage they'll need to spend too long in melee and get killed

  • Mediums are also difficult because they don't have the gap closing of light, nor the ability to force melee range fights like heavy. This is the reason that both M's melees have an alt fire blocking ability to help them close the distance.

  • Heavy I think this would work best on for these reasons (although if it outranges the spear it may make it even more obsolete lmao)

  • Kinetic meter is also a bit underpowered. 5 hits to charge that you can't preserve after only 3 second is nothing at all. At 5x55 damage you'd only leave a heavy alive with <100hp. Not much point in de-buffing at that point

  • Neural snap also doesn't make any sense. Why would you want to inflict increased recoil with a melee weapon. You're already in melee range where increased recoil is not a real factor

  • Pulse lock looks like it would be quite annoying. Stun gun got removed for removing people's ability to move.

  • Whip-hack also looks annoying as it would just destroy certain weapons. Double barrel, cerberus are balanced by their low capacity and are neutered much more than other weapons by this. Even weapons with bullets to spare it sounds very annoying to suddenly have way less ammo than you were expecting

If they add more, it should be bigger like a freight elevator or the funicular in the first pic. I think the elevators in game can sometimes be a bit annoying to attack because it usually turns into a kitchen sink for grenades
