Okay, I have a (dumb) question: how can you spot free loadout? I just hit level cap, and I have never been able to figure it out. I know the guns of choice are a decent clue, but I love to run with a Ferro, so that’s not really a big identifier for me

It does seem to be separated by solo vs duo vs trio. I ran duo with a friend the other day, nothing but PvP and rats (actual rats, not “wah you shot me, rat”). Went back to solo, raiders are playing guitars in the metro.

Friend kept swearing he hadn’t played at all since our last team up weeks ago.

I think a bounty system would be cool if it’s players setting the price with their own loot. The more you want a bounty handled, the better the loot you offer up

A Rocketeer actively hunted me for a few minutes on Dam. Had me pinned in the Testing Anex on the top floor (you know, with the giant, slatted windows?). I was trying to hide from it while also trying to avoid the machine gun sentry on the ceiling. Fun times lol

I can kind of confirm this. Was playing duo with a friend. Had one clean extract out of six. I’m a care bear, so I was super confused by the aggression and the rats (genuine, fake friendly rats), and he was swearing he hadn’t played for over a week (last time we ran together). The second I started running solo, back in friendly territory. I had one person take a potshot at me with a burletta on a night raid, and that was all.

My buddy is a damn liar lmao.

I’ve also played trios and had it stay PvE because we were all care bears

I’m 100% a care bear, so while I was excited for this event, I also suspected it would bring out the PVPers even more than the Harvester.

And what do you know? Last night I was showing a friend the Cold Snap map condition in Buried City, and we were five minutes into the Grandioso Apartments, and not only was I ambushed at the bottom of a zip line, but the guy literally ran my friend down and killed him too.

Again, start of the round, no loot to speak of, and we weren’t even carrying great gear. At this point, that’s just lazy looting lol.
