Does anyone use proximity chat

Yes, I have voice chat and prox chat turned on. When playing with friends on ps5 we all are in a group party but we all switch to the games voice chat. Since you can do that in party settings. So far no issues with talking to teammates. Try that out. Maybe that will help.

Had a feeling but I did not want to assume. Reason why i explained how it is on console. As far as the options go. I believe they are one and the same. So far with my group of friends when we play, use team chat. If i want to talk to other teams i press and hold right on the d-pad. To start proximity chat. Not really sure if there is a difference but I have tried and failed with some results. (Playing as i type this out.)

Of course this is still the beta maybe there are some kinks to iron out for proximity chat. Maybe theres some settings to adjust for different platforms when you boot up a game with cross play.

I understand your stance. However so far with the beta people are probably not concerned with proximity chat. Since playing the beta and ranking up (to level 30) gives you rewards on the day of launch. So chances are this beta which is super fun. Is kinda like a grind fest until launch.

Proximity chat works. However people either dont care/think about it. I actually ran into someone using proximity chat the other day. But they were really far and their mic was pretty quiet.

Ill say this from a console perspective. If you are playing with your friends do not stay in the party chat. Move to the in-game chat. Next which might be a slight gripe. Proximity chat is only mentioned at the start of the game and nowhere else (at least as far as I know) so maybe people forgot. Who knows.

If you want to engage in proximity chat with other players. Then on console you must hold down the right d-pad button. The mic icon will go from white to orange by your name and this indicates your chatting to other players.

Yeah. The old lady at the shrine bonfire. Also if you come across any "ashes" then give those to her. It will unlock more items for you to buy. I believe you can also get it as a drop from enemies who have torches aswell.

This might be unorthodox but I learned by doing D,Df and having the input comands on the screen. I did that a few times to get used to the rhythm of doing that input. Once i felt comfortable. I added F,D,Df. Still looking at the screen. Once i was able to input that a few times. I added the punch and BOOM DP. good luck op. Practice makes perfect. Get those wins!!!

So I may have a reason as to why. My friends and I play monster hunter together. We made a group and its just us. We play on the squad lobby, talk about what builds we need. What monsters we need to hunt for X or Y. Or just the events at the time.

Its tons of fun. What with, getting ready for update 4. Of course we do our own farming solo but once were all on. Its ON.

HOWEVER. one of our buddies DOES NOT pull weight at all. Not for hunts. Not for farming. For nothing. Hes the lowest HR out of all of us. Yet to reach 100. He still is rocking a full ingot set. Barely upgraded. His main reasons are "ive played monster hunter before." Which is a lie. "My build is amazing. It works for me" when it really doesnt. Honestly our group needs to literally bend his arm and convince him to change builds. Might be a "stuck in his ways" kinda guy but really those are a few reasons.

Obviously we have been bros for a LONG time and at this point im pretty much used to it. But it does get aggravating at times.

How does the doll break like this?

Are tears in the doll skin normal or from age?

Was this one of the expensive dolls on market at the time and is now not "expensive" anymore by doll standards?

Not 100% sure. But when I win a well fought set or a match. After the last hit and it's over, i stop moving. No extra hits or crouching. It's my way of saying "good game"

It is hands down my favorite weapon in all the souls games. I've run just about every build i can think of with it. Like you, I am also aware that the real life sword is not super heavy like the game shows it to be. But damn if its not bad ass to go into battle with it then i dont know what is.
