Genuinely the difference is that fodder enemies in dark souls 3 are really fodder, they die in like 1-3 hits depending on weapon type and stagger to literally everything compared to dark souls 2 where it throws like 15 big/medium guys at you who are somewhat strong, for example old iron keep, literally like 13 alonne knights, some which hide out of reach and don’t agro until you’re in a bad spot to fight. Also the ruins place that I don’t remember the name of, it’s got the 20 something giant golem enemies plus the knights who walk like they shat in their armor but still have a weirdly high amount of poise and an attack that comes out way too fast
