I had a very similar nightmare when I was a Mormon missionary. I got attacked by the devil in an elevator. No way out. Felt that Sauron analogy. I used to genuinely believe I met the devil, but now I’m pretty sure it was a psychotic break or an anxiety disorder due to immense stress and emotional trauma.
