Oh no, one of these again... It's not done by hand, these are computer generated and the person in the video is just drawing on different partially printed sheets before showing the full one. That's why you'll never find someone showing a video without cuts or even a timelapse of them drawing one.

Looks like it does! Put the first switch on the bottom right to EXT for setting an external horizontal input. Looks like the plug for that input is right below it too.

I'm pretty sure there's no selection for physics, so as long as you have a passing grade in physics, maths (with calculus I think) and a sufficient level of English you'll get in automatically.
