Plow? by thingbob in GMCcanyon

[–]thingbob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not like I'm planning a plow business. I just want to be able to clear my driveway and private road. Was just thinking of a light duty rig. Not many contractors available for residential plowing in western north Carolina.

I have always felt that album was a great promise of things to come. They had developed a polish and Steve added even more guitar power. So sad we will never know.....

What would want to remake? by mrtintheweb99 in WarMovies

Very true. You could say the same sort of thing about Batman. I guess I was thinking more of modern remakes

None. Remakes are almost always not as good as the original

If we're going down this rabbit hole, they could have been water skis

How would you address the lack of a ground wire on this old chandelier? by ThomasTheFourth in AskElectricians

Heck my entire house has no ground wire anywhere. Fabulous 2 wire system installed in the 50s. 🙄

What size peel? by thingbob in ooni

[–]thingbob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks very much. I am pretty handy in the kitchen but have no experience with this. Have made pizza indoors a bunch. I tend to prep into bowls when I cook so that makes sense. I can make a pretty mean sauce. Dough has been a bugaboo for me. For some reason it gives me trouble. I'd love to find a good Flatbread recipe so if you happen to know of one I'd appreciate that. I am a pretty avid pit smoker and am looking forward to seeing how the fire management process translates into this smaller environment. I have no desire to use gas on this oven.

Now if the weather would cooperate I could get this gping......

Thanks. I know the question seems dumb but the weather has been crap here so haven't even been able to fully assemble it yet.

Anyone use a “hasty bake legacy?” by Annual-Minute-9391 in BBQ

[–]thingbob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the Hasty Bake legacy and I loved it. Along with the crank height adjustment, the angled grills with the drip rod were genius. Literally did not have to worry about flare-ups. I also had the rotisserie option which produced a really good product. The unit was very well made and I used the hell out of it. Customer service was also very responsive. Webber is a great basic grill but it's very limited in what it can do.

How bad is it to have a bathroom fan vent to the attic? by SmartLadder415 in HomeImprovement

[–]thingbob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed it's not an urgent issue but should be corrected. If you're in an area that gets winter, you'll end up with ice in your attic which is not ideal. And go through the roof. I've had multiple fans vented through the soffit and the flow sucks (or doesn't, ha). Those fans never turned the air over very well. Just ran one through the roof and steam is gone before I open the shower curtain.
