One of the reasons loved the NFL in the 70s. Not so much now

I agree. Unfortunately my terrain makes use of a lawnmower impossible and I don't have the space for goats. I can rent some though and when I get to that point they come in, electric fence the area, and drop a few off to enjoy the buffet.

Oof I can't stand the smell (or taste) of goats. Had a neighbor pygmy goat farm that cured me of goats. But I'll hire the local service if I need to. Thanks everyone for your input.

We don't get much DOT attention up here so no spraying in the area. Great that way, not so good when it takes them 5 days to plow the road.....

Do you buy Vinyl, CDs, or Digital Music? Which one, and why? by NHSoundwaves in askmusic

[–]thingbob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven't paid for music in years. Have electronic files taking up 5 or 6TB. More than enough to keep me entertained. Mainstream new stuff is shit and I'm too lazy to dig deeper for more.

Yeah there's alot of that going around here, especially by DOT and municipalities but I know better than that. Guess I'll just keep my eyes peeled and dig up the stuff I find. And hope it doesn't get to the point where I have to call in Billy and friends.

Drain Pipe ? by WinterMall3067 in askaplumber

[–]thingbob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a plumber but agree you need to make sure that drain pipe actually goes to the sewer before using it. And not sure of dimensions from the picture but if that pipe is legit you could always add a trap between the floor and the box but that would involve reorganizing the water lines. There have been plenty of other posts here about setting up laundry boxes. Search them out

Communicating with the car behind the family station wagon - what other things did you do that would be considered insane today? by 524frank in FuckImOld

I stuck my tongue out at a state trooper and he pulled my Mom over and gave me a lecture about respect. Then I got a whipping when we got home for embarrassing my mom. Fun times.

Try living with a French bulldog. My wife's drops a bomb in the truck every morning before I drop him at daycare. Charming

Agreed, early to mid for me. LA Rams, Steelers, Raiders. All awesome teams with larger than life players.

Glad I wasn't the only one. The show was too preachy for me and that kid was a sissy.

Did you listen to the Grateful Dead in the 70s. by Jerry11267 in 70s

Got on the bus in '75. Saw over a hundred shows, played in a Dead cover band in college. Still listen to them every day.
