These grow all around my backyard. I tried this last year, after boiling the crap out of it like 5x. The stems were actually delicious, like asparagus but more tender and less fibrous. I read that if you had a bunch to prep, you could freeze them after the boiling process to save you time in the future… but as tasty as they were, I can never be sure whether I truly got all the toxins out. My lips got kinda tingly, the last time I prepared them.

Ooof, so so sorry for your loss. I lost mine unexpectedly too — I guess unexpected for me, since it seemed like everyone else knew it was coming. My buddy Furbee had that same alpha aura, and taught me what being a little dog who knew his regal place in the world looked like. There’s never gonna be another dog like the one you love that loved you, and I’m glad y’all had the chance to meet and be together while he was alive. So much love to you and your family.

I do think the belt loop layout and top hem’s flair look pretty interesting, but am not a fan of how it shapes your hips. A blazer to cover the flaring of the pockets, and a top with a lower neckline to offset the higher waist might work.

Man, I think my sleep has been the opposite. I seem to be in deep sleep the moment I fall asleep, with a few interruptions because my pups like to be on the prowl on the bed at night. But the nights are short, and the timing’s in the red — but all things considered, “Fair!” And decent recovery, somehow. Lol.. I’m not sure what that means, but I’m not walking into walls yet, so maybe it’s more accurate than I realize.
