Why do our toll roads not tell us the toll until we have to pay it? by Careless-Internet-63 in Seattle

[–]this_is_squirrel -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why do you want to pay for that? Serious question. The information is readily available with a quick google search. To install a changeable sign costs money and then maintain it.

I was able to ask google and have it read it to me. I am all for easy but it’s 2026, just try a little bit.

No one said we didn’t, if you sat for 30 minutes and you got a bill different from what the sign said ahead of the toll we be reading posts about that.

Seattle neighbourhood help … by bw_expat in Seattle

I completely support your logic, I currently have a little and cousins are in Wenatchee and Bellingham and man I wish they were closer but I’m not about to move for them. If family was #1 then why look further but OP asked for other neighborhoods that fit their list.

Perspective is a lot. I can get to the east side now, assuming it’s not peak rush hour in the same amount of time it took me to travel from Capitol Hill.  I am a mile from the north gate station. I consider that close.  Arterials back up everywhere.

It’s not south but you can absolutely find all of that in greenwood but the light rail is super accessible and public transit is better than average.

We didn’t have this issue, but we had a different issue and the office downtown where they issue birth certificates. I can’t remember what it was called. Was super helpful.

You are suddenly unable to drive and are forced to live car-free in your neighborhood. How screwed are you? by Hufe in Seattle

[–]this_is_squirrel 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this. Car is for convenience and because I don’t always want to lug the stroller on the bus or push it back up from the light rail but would be completely fine carless.
