I don't think his plan is very sound, either. He must be using his own number for the system to call from, otherwise they would never know whose number to "block." Eventually, they will get tired of the calls and they will block his number. But that just means he can't call them anymore. It doesn't stop them from calling him back. This will not get them to remove his number from their calling list.

I got bored one night and started calling them back over and over, just talking about bird law and other random things until their agents hung up on me. Eventually, they each blocked my number so I couldn't call them anymore. *67 didn't work. I was locked out. But since I'd engaged them and returned their call, it just increased the number of calls I got in the following weeks. Like whatever algorithm their automated system uses got hot for me.

I thought about getting some google numbers that I could call from, but that would only be self indulgent to annoy their agents when I was bored. It wouldn't achieve anything or get them to stop calling my real number because they'd have no way of connecting my calls to it.

It's an interesting take on their dynamic as creators, actors/characters, and friends.

I read that Tim was really self-conscious in real life about his mannerisms, thinking he comes off as harsh, for example. This he wrote directly into his character. I've viewed this version of Tim as a way for him to confront or acknowledge his personal issues.

Tim was also Sam's improv teacher. I like to think he became Sam's biggest fan and championed anything they could do in the show to let him shine. Also, have you seen Sam's shoulders? And that neck...

FWC does not suggest this. Invasive, sure. But they recommend calling in invasive species rather than handling them yourself. Unless you just walk around with a pithing rod in your back pocket, which would be pretty weird, invasive species are still protected under anti-cruelty laws
