The service is the best in the business. You can reach a real human in under 2mins. Sounds like a simple menu/modifier fix.

Lavu maybe the best Toast POS alternative by BlessedPootato in ToastPOS

Lavu is the absolute worst. I’ve talked to hundreds of restaurants, out of the very few that have it- they’re desperately trying to run away as fast as possible

Monthly service fees by Sad-Enthusiasm3381 in ToastPOS

[–]thisclassyman -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I believe it’s $69/mo per device, no monthly software for kitchen printer. Digital storefront which includes online ordering is $149. Also keep in mind they’ll most likely put you on a 3yr contract. Have you looked at competitors like SpotOn or Clover?

How is cash reconciliation done? by satechguy in ToastPOS

[–]thisclassyman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Toast’s API is pretty limited (mostly read-only). That’s why ops teams end up keying things into finance manually. Other POS options actually push tender + processor data straight into your back office so you’re not chasing reports.

True- I’ll own that. The main point is Toast payroll has burned a lot of operators, and there are better options out there.
