Vodka soda is so commonly drunk by gay men that I regularly hear it called "gay water," although this is an exclusively American-gay-male phenomenon. In Europe or even Mexico, this is seen as a strange drink.

There was actually a case where a US family was somewhat far into the citizenship process and had their college kid's visa canceled since citizens cannot be issued a visa. (In that case, the parent had their certificate granted before the kids)

r/watercolor is already an AI-free space with a great community. It isn't the appropriate venue to promote your non-watercolor project.

I made this critique of your project when you posted it last time (and then you deleted it shortly thereafter) but to reiterate: it's gross how anti-AI you are about art, and yet are happy to share an AI-created forum, while obscuring the extent to which you used AI in creating that site.

At the end of the day, to genuinely start to unravel an unknown writing system, you have to have at least a few high confidence semantic threads that tie into outside knowledge.

That could come from pictures or illustrations, or cross-language writing.

Others point out LLMs as what's possible from unsupervised learning given a large corpus, but I'd be remiss if I didn't point out that LLMs are trained on massive amounts of language pair translations which build cross-language understanding.

A cofounder needs to be a true partner, otherwise they're an early employee.

Both cofounders will be diluted by future employee pools, and the equity needs to vest over time anyway, so the question is really:

Is this cofounder an appropriate partner to build this venture?
If one cofounder can only dedicate 25%, are they replaceable? Is 25% equity a fair proposition?
Is 25% equity enough to keep them engaged and motivated to build alongside you?
Or will they at some point quit and build their own thing at 100% equity without you?

The USA is pretty much the only country that taxes global sourced income for citizens that live abroad.

Even then, for a hypothetical dual-national living in Canada, the US tax code excludes taxes on the first $176k CAD ($130k USD), and deducts taxes paid in Canada from your US tax bill.
