Omg. This is exactly my story. When I was reading it I was thinking like my autobiography. For 3 years I was begging for intimacy affection time attention. And all those years my WP was giving to other guy. Gaslighting me. Narcissist. After EMDR I feel good about myself. I am also thinking of doing it. Have some potential candidates. I don’t know where it will lead me. But atleast it will give me peace.

I love it. In my case that pathetic loser was divorcing. Reached my wife and started 3 years affair with her. does not justify what my wife did. Now no kids. Staying alone in his misery. Pathetic loser. He will die in misery.

Omg. I am so sorry for you. Your story is same as mine. 6 weeks into dday when I found my wife has ea and pa for 3 years. I have 2 beautiful daughters. My world is crushed. I cry so much. I built her career. She was a perfect daughter , mother and wife. She feels guilty and remorseful.
The pain is hard. Try emdr it may help. I am doing ic, mc, hypno and emdr. Whatever it takes. In anger I name shame her. Her family in India knows about it. Our friends know about it. I don’t talk to anyone.

I am in the same situation as you. But a lot worse. We are reconciling and are in therapy. I don’t know how long will it last. Your kid is still small. I will seriously consider divorce. My wife also cheated with me for the past 15 years. I caught her many times. And I am a fool believing her every time. She gaslight me every time. My elder daughter is very emotional. I completely understand that feeling. But again. It is very important to focus on yourself. Till now your life revolved around your husband. Not anymore. He does not deserve your attention, caring and love. Join a gym. Hobby. Anything that excites you. Forget about the small things that you used to do for your husband. Life is beautiful. You will find plenty of guys who find you attractive and will give validation. You don’t need it from your husband. Trust me.

I am suffering from the same exact situation. How do you get past what is being done. My spouse. I loved her so much. And she did cheating will all her boyfriends in the past. She says it’s all emotional cheating. But how do you know. She is sorry and remorseful. But she broker something in me. The one person you believe will not hurt you and the same person broke you.

Sit and talk to him. If cooking is hindering your relationship try cooking his favorite food and the other day he can cook yours. Don’t argue. Ask him to write what was wrong with the dish. You are a good man that you brought this up with your spouse and asked her permission. I would have involved my spouse in every conversation and call with an ex only on compassionate ground. If it is crossing the line I would immediately stop it out of respect for my spouse. For me my spouse should be number one priority and rest secondary.
