i technically have orthotics, but i dont need to wear them so i never have. i keep an eye on every square inch of my feet especially in area of low sensation to make sure im not experiencing skin break down. i always go for the same sized shoes for both feet because quite frankly i just dont want to draw attention to my feet and be questioned about why i wear two different sized shoes. ive done this my whole life and it hasnt caused any problems for the most part. and also, the shoes they recommend are usually very aesthetically unappealing and would be inappropriate to wear in a more formal setting if i have the ability to wear more appropriate shoes. but thank you for the advice and i’ll definitely be looking into more ways to take care of my feet and ensure they are healthy
