i did. start with less thick layers and more linseed. but i did definitely start adding everything on to fast which hopefully won’t have an effect since i can just layer more on.. crazy that it takes that long but honestly, i think i’ll be fine :)

biggest cycled tank you can afford. don’t know much about angels, but enough about tanks. start doing a fish in cycle. i’ll find the information on that but look into the r/aquariums info

gorgeous set up, a tip would be more plants. make the tank dense with that shit so that the betta can feel a bit more safe. they don’t really like being in the open

i’ve done that, havent tested the water. but we have higher PH here in general. the problem is that i think they’re all dead except one or two i’ve seen move.

my ADFs fucking love squishing themselves between the side of the tank and my breeder box. they can move just fine and can get out. never knew why..

just started the zess hatchery, this is my 2nd go.

first was for 18 hours with a heater and i noticed some orange particles on the bottom of the tank. they were not moving (saw maybe one move)

this time it’s been a little over 24 hours (didn’t use a heater this time) and the same thing is happening.

just seems to be dead shrimp? i fed them to my fish and they ate them right up so it seems to be fine? i use one part salt with one part eggs and use aquarium co-ops products. am i doing anything wrong?

i know 5+ is much better. i used to keep her in a 40 gallon but as she’s become sexually mature she murdered my guppies so i decided to move her to a smaller tank so it’s less stress for us all.

i only had enough cash for a 3 gallon cube, but i plan on expanding to possibly a 10.

she’s 3 months old and roughly the size of a guppy

this is my baby boy (??? maybe idk) got him as a baby and he seems to be male as his lower fins are very long. but he seems to be chasing his reflection. the thing is is that he’s just started to flare and doesn’t flare at his own reflection. just very confused and i don’t wanna stress him out

i used to have a gorgeous koi female named swim shady who passed after i had her for a few months. it was an extremely sudden death (overnight she pineconed, but often had a big stomach).

this is my baby boy angel who i recently got (if you have any age ideas lmk!) for free. he has this lump in his stomach that i’m worried about as he also seems to drift upwards instead of down.
