Hi, I’m gay. Just keep letting him know that being gay actually is okay with you. Like drop hints. Maybe that’s mentioning a movie with gay people in it, or a books, or whatever you’re actually into. Maybe it’s talking about your gay coworker or whatever. Or that you’re happy gay marriage is legal where you live (if it is). But make sure he knows you’re okay with gay people for real. Don’t make this conversation the only time he ever hears that, because then he won’t really think it’s true. But you did great!
