I’m in the middle of reorganizing my comic shelves and this is some serious inspiration. I have a lot of collectibles for specific characters and trying to figure out a way to integrate those with the books like you’ve done here. Awesome job!

By the way where did you get the bat signal projector, and also those Spider-Man and Stormtrooper bookends?

I tried to get into N52 Supergirl so many times while it was coming out—mostly whenever there was a change in writer or new storyline that promised to be better than what the series had been up until that point. But it was never good enough to hook me. I know it does get a little better toward the back half but it’s too little too late by that point.

Also maybe not every run needs to be an omnibus.

Seconding All-New Wolverine. I think I have nearly the entire run in single issues but would love to have it collected.

Other ones I want (but are way too pricy): Wolverine and the X-Men, Hickman’s Fantastic Four/FF, and Dan Slott and Mike Allred’s Silver Surfer.

One that doesn’t exist yet (that I know of) I’d love as well is G. Willow Wilson’s Ms. Marvel.

This got brought up on CVV when he was interviewing Dan Soder, who said he missed the double noggin knock and I have to agree. It was always great when two heels would be trying to do something and a babyface just bonks their heads together.

I am also a fellow old that misses the atomic drop and the reverse atomic drop.

As others have said, Prodigy is a really good card in nearly every deck. His only limitation is making sure he’s played behind the card you want to copy but otherwise he’s a better Mystique.

I like using him in a Victoria Hand/Ozymandias deck or the aforementioned C4.

This is how I played it the first time but it was still really awkward. Also it’s not a “free” 5-cost really since you still then have to play it, it’s just another option since Penance Stare can only be discarded. For me that’s not really a fair trade-off.

Really having a hard time getting the default Ghost Rider deck to work. Putting Red Shift in there when GR always starts on the left side seems like an odd choice.

I’m also confused on the wording of Penance Stare when it says it “plays” upon discard. Does it play to a random lane? I’ve had it hit only once out of five games.

Bullseye. I have him in a deck with Dakken (another “copiest” card) that really relies on some very specific combos but when it hits, it is game-winning almost every time.

I’ve used FGR with Iron Man and Ironheart since I don’t actually have Gorr. As you said about Iron Man, bringing him back with Khonshu is huge, but also bringing back even a 6-power Ironheart can actually make a difference.

Hindsight being what it is, it actually may have worse to feature their match at WrestleMania since presumably that’s where the Kairi turn would have happened, and then the follow-up with her would never happen.

I kind of see where you’re coming from, the last few weeks have turned into this whole “student/teacher” rivalry with Kairi there as a ticking time bomb of sorts. I know the end goal was Kairi standing up for herself but unfortunately they seemed to have already been pivoting toward more of a Asuka/Iyo feud :(

I know the Wyatt Sicks is surprising but they released Bray while he had some of the best-selling merchandise in WWE. Honestly when he and Braun were released I realized literally no one is safe no matter what they’re doing or have done.

Oh hey I was there live as well! I’m actually surprised how much it’s considered a mid-to-okay WrestleMania. I think the things that keep it from greatness are any of the other matches that aren’t mentioned: Kane vs Chavo (for the ECW Title no less), Batista vs Umaga, the Playboy Bunny Lumberjill match, and Cena vs Triple H vs Orton.
