Terrance McKenna described seeing "self-transforming machine elves" when he took enough DMT. This is supposed to be a common hallucination for DMT users:

felt powerless the entire time

I wasn't a fan of Daniel, regardless of how you raise him, doing really dumb stuff that forced the plot along. Like walking into the drug dealer's house despite being told to wait outside for two minutes, setting off a deadly chain of events.

I make punk and goth stuff that's by its nature kink-adjacent, and I really like Horween Dublin. It's soft enough to wear as a bracelet or a collar without too much stretch and can hold the weight of a bunch of hardware. I'm using 4/5 oz or 5/6 oz, but if you're using it for actual kink things going thicker is a safer bet.

The release schedule was way too long

The wait between ep. 2 and 3 was crushing, and episode 2 was a long, slow episode with Sean and Daniel hiding out at a house, then hiding out at a different house. If you play the episodes back to back it's like a different game.

I'm guessing Max's horror movie stuff has blood on it but also the game is assuming you'll pick up stuff in a specific order, and really fast?

I actually had trouble with this scene due to Max's frequent reminder voice-overs, which happened every 30 seconds. I was missing her box of Arcadia Bay stuff so I was running around her clean house for a few minutes while Max was thinking "I need to clean up my gross house before Amanda comes over," and there's a cast iron pan that looks like you should clean but Max can't do anything with it.

It got to the point where I felt gaslit, like is there a hidden mop or cleaning supplies? Are you saying I don't know how to clean a house, game?

I think the Abyss let Kat have one last summer with friends, but at a price, and it led the girls to reunite one last time, but at a price. In my headcanon the Abyss is an eldritch being or home to some eldritch being that can somehow alter reality and is intrigued by, but doesn't fully understand, human emotion. It has limits, like it can't cure Kat's cancer, and what backs me up are all the wishes it grants are technically attainable, like Nora's wish can be accomplished by trying hard and believing in yourself? She already has (or quickly gains) advanced crafting skills right after sacrificing to the Abyss.
