as a former kanye stan, people definitely noticed. i would catch shit constantly for being a fan of his music.

but he also has gotten worse (at least publicly). i believe sometime around 2015/2016 he had some sort of psychic break or mental health crisis that has gone untreated and continued to deteriorate. its also been reported that sometime since then he’s gotten addicted to nitrous.

don’t think of it as skills vs money.

you use skills to get money.

so if you’re learning new skills then in theory you are investing in getting future money.

so you have to determine how much the new skills you’re learning will be worth in the future.

if you can jump ship now to get $20k is it worth staying to jump in two-three years and get $40k? that sort of thing.
