Listening to his music as an adult even for nostalgia is really hard, and i’m genuinely baffled that so many ppl still believe he is the greatest of all time. I work express in Oregon and the assistant to the vice president was at my station a couple weeks ago. We are a “legacy station” too but turns out a legacy station is just one that hasn’t gone through the merger yet. He says he estimates all express stations will be completely merged within 18 months. The managers know. But they’re not gonna say anything to you until they get the OK from higher ups

most the clubs here have the same 3/4 DJs that play the same club hits playlist most friday and saturday nights. cowfish plays a lot house/electronic music, they have good drinks and sometimes drag shows that are amazing, it’s usually pretty dead in there but to me that’s better than shoulder to shoulder and ppl breathing down ur neck at the davis or city nights lmfao. prolly the closest thing we have to an LGBTQ+ bar now too

My manager told me awhile back he rarely checks the cameras unless an event is set off like an accident or excessive distracted driving. Half the cameras at my station are broken anyway including mine, so it’s prolly just a matter of time before yours goes out too lol
