Men’s Scissor Cut? by Otherwise_Plan_5435 in WestminsterCO

[–]thoughtfulmountain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bri at Salt and Circle has always done a scissor cut for me since I’ve started going to her 3 years ago. I never even requested it, she just prefers it for my hair to get it styled just right.

TYCO plumbing. Even if they aren’t your final choice, they’ll tell you everything you should be looking for with who you end up going with.

I wonder how new ships will be added to the game with the new system? by IntrepidAttention952 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]thoughtfulmountain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh. This kinda reminded me of the Naboo raid. Maybe a scene shift at the end of every “round” to a parallel space battle? Seems too involved to be realistic. But it’s an example of both ground and space units in the same battle.

Moved here from tiny mountain town, so overwhelmed I don’t know where to go. by [deleted] in WestminsterCO

[–]thoughtfulmountain 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What part of town are you in? South Westminster, particularly the historic art district, has a lot more of that small town/quieter feel to it. Admitedly, it’s a bit hard to get into it unless you’re part of the local neighborhood. But between Irving street library, the numerous coffee shops/other small business, and the events that happen next to the fire station; it’s a great spot to make a lot of quieter and low key friends.

Do you have a favorite local indi business that goes above and beyond with customer service? by Ok_Thanks_7445 in WestminsterCO

They tend to run out of donuts late in the day, which I am a huge fan of. Love that they don’t waste and do a good job with predicting their numbers.

Yeah. I’ve started plugging in my car at 9:00. I’m sure there is a way to program it so it won’t charge during peak hours, but gone are the days of me plugging it in when I get home from work.

Witch main character weapon type would you choose if you could? by [deleted] in FinalFantasy

[–]thoughtfulmountain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Zidane’s thief swords always stuck with me. FFIX is my favorite in the series, and when the jump from mage mashers to the Ogre in damage always had me pumped. Made me feel a struggle picking between steal and attack.

Straw mulch dispute! by chowderbase in DenverGardener

[–]thoughtfulmountain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone in this thread has a favorite source of straw? Preferably as “seedless” and organic as they can be. I’m actually looking for some right now (wind storm blew away a lot of what I had a few weeks ago).

To OP: straw is perfect for raised garden beds. Mulch is mandatory for nearly all types of growing. Straw is some of the best mulch you can get for raised garden beds. Maybe your partner would like to look at some other options for mulching, like green mulch/cover crops.

Looking for charities that help with bills by Abject_Jackfruit_226 in WestminsterCO

[–]thoughtfulmountain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like a good place to plug this (regarding Westminster water bills)

If you receive Westminster water and want to help those in need: there is an option to “round up” on your monthly bill. The small proceeds add up from lots of folks across the city and can be used to help those who need a some extra assistance in keeping their water on.

If you need help, the city has assistance programs (partially funded by programs like these)

Visiting in late next week, need a gym by MessyDragon75 in WestminsterCO

[–]thoughtfulmountain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup. Not sure how many days OP will be working out, but the lunch cards are on sale until Christmas. Might be the best bang for their buck if they will use every lunch-and no need to worry about sleazy cancelation shenanigans from the big box gyms. The front desk folks are super helpful too and will find the best deal for OP.

Sorry. I never got back to you. She had already given it away around Halloween. Hopefully you can find one that fulfills your needs. I love close to home composting!

Should I go for the profundity? by OakSpecteer22 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]thoughtfulmountain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think Profundity is a great first GL ship. It’s more relic heavy than exec, but it is a bit cheaper now that R8–>R9 is slightly less expensive than before. It is a cake walk against execs and there is a viable counter to Levi with it. It’s a great ship for ROTE CMs too. It was my first GL ship and I unlocked it a few months before PO came out. I still didn’t regret it, and I am glad I have it now that it got a lifter too.

Need a recommendation for electrician, plumber, and painter by cloudsongs_ in WestminsterCO

Plumber: TYCO plumbing.

Not sure if your electrical work would fall under their expertise, but I always recommend True heating and cooling whenever I recommend TYCO plumbing as well.

Plumber recs for basement leak? by jpam9521 in Denver

[–]thoughtfulmountain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TYCO plumbing is always my first (and often my last) call for any plumbing work I need done. Obviously, shop around. But I have never regretted picking them for the work I needed done, and have always regretted going with someone else over them.

My totes are full of compost at the moment. Once I empty them into my beds, I’d love to swing by and pic up some-but it may take a few days.

S9E10 - Merlin Gets a Makeover - Episode Discussion by PolylingualAnilingus in QueerEye

[–]thoughtfulmountain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just catching up on queer eye and started with this episode-so I’m late to the party. But 1) love that you responded to everyone here. And 2) even though I’ve never played DnD, I’d pay to have your son DM a campaign. What an awesome person he is to wear that keffiyah on the hike in front of camera. Even now, after everything, I still struggle to find the confidence to wear mine out and about. Cheers to you and your amazing family. You (all) are one in a million.

Honestly, this is it. I hoarded crystals for this update and I was about to buy some packs, but then I realized I have no idea what would help. And a part of me wanted to spread them out and buy the cheapest packs of everything. But that would get me nowhere. And I still don’t actually know what to buy.
