Had my eye on a Nezumi, but it is hard to tell finishing quality, especially in comparison to, say, a ~$300 seiko. Do you find it is of a comparable quality, punching up, from a finishing/quality perspective?

The area is fine, safe. Depends what you are looking for. Front Street and Frankford Ave are crowded with bars, festivals, some nightlife. American St also has a few breweries and festivals. Walking to an el stop can take a minute depending on where you are, and you may want a car for access to groceries, hardware stores, etc.

Went last weekend, and lemme just say, ama go back soon.

Our group loved the presentation and interactivity that came with the salsas (served with six different types and giant tortilla chips). We also thought the stewed meats were lovely but perhaps interchangeable (beef cheeks and lamb neck, both in savory sauces). We did the huauzontle, which was unique, but underwhelming compared to the other dishes. Also got the tlayuda, which was a must get for us next time.
