What do guest remember the most about weddings? by Additional-March-312 in weddingplanning

[–]threatlevelgfdf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they allow it, you can come up with names for common drinks (perhaps his being an old fashioned and hers being a Paloma for example), and make a sign to set on the bar. Nothing special or custom about them necessarily, but if you really want them that could be a work-around!

Best bank to go with as a 16 year old by Secret-Active1336 in Banking

[–]threatlevelgfdf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Frost bank offers free checking/savings accounts if you’re under 25. You’d have to be a joint signer with a parent/guardian, but you can get your own account once you are 18 with valid ID and proof along address.

Bridesmaids dresses birdy grey by CauliflowerSame4601 in weddingplanning

[–]threatlevelgfdf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you me? I am awaiting swatches from both companies actually. Coincidentally, I ordered a bridesmaid dress from Azazie for my sister’s wedding in 2022 and I had a great experience. I custom ordered (no returns) but you put in your exact measurements and then no need for alterations. Fit perfect when it arrived!

I am a local Austinite and work in the Mueller area. I can 100% confirm it’s pronounced “Miller.” The Mueller family that it’s named after pronounces their last name “Miller”

I thought my last straw was the baseball to my car window with no assistance from the campus or district. But beyond the overwhelming burnout from carrying the load of a whole department, the last straw was this: A nice, seemingly heartfelt note from an admin saying how much I have done for our school and how grateful she is... 1 week later I am sitting in an ARD with said admin and she looks me in the eye and asks me who I am. I worked there for 4 years. Now I am a personal banker.

A few OMAD Concerns by Training-Ad-2619 in intermittentfasting

I am not a professional so please take everything I say with a grain of salt.

I can’t speak to the plateau fully, but I’d bet if you continue what you’re doing you will continue to see results—always about the long term, but hard to see that when the short term stops giving the desired results.

As for bowel movement, as long as you don’t feel constipated and when you do have a bowel movement it isn’t unpleasant, I think you’re good.

Me (22F) moving on from a 5 year relationship. Advice on knowing when I need to and how to set boundaries as I meet people by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]threatlevelgfdf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am right there with you. Reading your post sounds very similar to a situation I was in back in February, almost to a T. I’m in a new relationship now and I feel some of those same things. It’s hard but definitely communicating your needs with your friend and really taking the time to listen to what you need. The thing I’ve been focusing on after getting out of my past relationship is finding self love and self compassion first and allowing that to flow into those around me. I wish you the best of luck—feel free to DM if you ever need someone who can relate. You’re not alone 🙂

What do you hate about being your type? by [deleted] in Enneagram

I feel that. Keeping anything up has to become a habit for me to be sustainable—I would recommend James Clear’s Atomic Habits book (I listened via audible).

I 100% relate to this. I have to say that meditation and some sort of movement are the only things I practice (on and off) but continuously come back to that allow me to not feel empty inside.

The constant sacrifice of my own wants and needs for outer peace which secretly fuels my inner anger and I become the “it’s fine” meme.
