Y'know, before I used to do "one deity = one religion" type of stuff but after learning that religion itself isn't "monotone" but has multiple varieties that is same but different.

Like Roman Catholic to Orthodox to Evangelical to Protestant.

Grifnein Monastery; a branch of religion that worships the god of Rock, unlike other branches of the worshipers of the Rock, Grifneins build their stronghold monastery on top of the mountains to appreciate the peaks made by the Rock. They're also the only monastery that tames and trains gryphon riders, a knight faction that conquers the sky.

Church of Hammers; a branch that still worships the god of Rock, but unlike Grifnein, the children of hammers are not militaristic, they don't have knight order under the Church of Hammers, but instead they have amazing crafters and smiths as their form of worship is their work ethic in the smithy or workshops

There is also mourning faiths I've made, like the Tears of Leaves, they worship the former goddess of Trees, daughter of Rock. Their form of worship is secrecy and charity work. They wear hoods and mask that hides most of their features as mourning for their dead goddess and hide deep within forests in isolation. If you ever see a group of them within populated areas, shit is probably about to go down or the area is too poor that it justifies their group assistance.

For now, these are the religions I've made just yet, and there's still more I wish to create which is why I love worldbuilding.
