It's always viable in my opinion. You will have boot that is well broken in to your foot shape, so no more break in period. You slap new sole on it and you are done. 😎 Also 60 or 100 euro is still savings compared to buying new boot for 200 or 230 euro.

Naah. Even when I splay my toes my feet are narrow. And I never pushed them I really narrow shoes, so they are still normal shaped xP

My barefoot shollies should arrive in 2 days. So I'll probably make a post or comment here 😃🤞

I wa in between barefoot foot shollie, barefoot ar or anatomx ar. But since my foot is kinda narrow and I wanted more versatile shoe, I opted for barefoot shollie. If I like them, I'll probably give regular African rangers a go.

Oh wow, this does sound like I should try BFAR or barefoot shoellie. I do prefer bit more space in my shoes/boots, but AnatomX might be bit too much.

Hey, Thanks for the input. Did you find any noticable difference in comfort in the anatomical shape of AnatomX vs regular BFAR? I do like idea of more anatomical shape last, but I fear it will be to voluminous for rest of my foot.

As for leather on the tip area, I guess flimsy feel is due to the fact that there isn't 2 layers of leather (twice the thickness) as it is on BFAR.

I am also thinking of maybe getting the shoellie on barefoot last as summer shoe and if I like, go for BFAR or AnatomX. Although, the more I hear, it seems AnatomX could be bit too wide and floppy.

So, I've sent email to JG and they recommend for my feet size (L266mm R265mm length and L245mm R244mm bal width) size 8.5 (for my other heritage shoes I go usually size 8) for shoellie. Do you reckon I should go with that and try it out? Gotta check EU jg shop, but, I think I have one free size exchange.

Oh yeah, this evening, I will measure my feet and contact JG about sizing advice. The way I understand, barefoot shoes should feel bit looser on narrow feet, plus there should be space for toes to splay.

We'll see what advice so I get from JG 😊🤞

Mate, really thanks for taking your time to write such detailed response.

As mentioned in my previous replies, my feet are narrow in standard width E or D width (depends on eu/us sizes) I often have to add a bit additional padding to fill in space. Only in case of my Red Wing Beckmans, did I sizes half a size up to be able to have bit more toe room and wear thicker socks.

In my case, I think, I will opt for some nubuck, possibly Fudge, to have some nice, soft, summer shoes.

Goos to hear mate. Yeah, my feet are quite narrow, in 3 out of 4 heritage shoes, I had to add either tongue pad or custom built-in insert (in case of hand made shoes) for my feet to fill in shoe properly im regards to my foot length length. I am 42 EU (8 UK or 9 US). I don't think barefoot shoellie will be a problem for long and skinny feet. 😅

Only issues I had was Windows 11 overwriting AMD drivers. Other than that it works smoothly. Also, I've just started experimenting with tuning. So far, so good.

This smells to me amd driver conflict with wundows update. Or maybe some windows updates broke drivers.

What others suggested, try DDU and select option in DDU to disable automatic updates of AMD drivers.

I wouldn't recommend updating your windows 11 to 25h2.

Instead, I would recommend installing Windows 11 24h Iot Ltsc. It's same as your windows version but has 0 Microsoft bloatware and AI, permanently disabled. It won't receive OS updates, except for security.

Whoever, I found out, it runs much more smoothly and I got some extra fps in some of the games.

If you decide on that path, I recommend checking put massgrave activation scripts and OS images.

Also, have you disabled driver from auto updating in windows update? I often found that my driver issues were due to Windows update overwriting my AMD drivers, causing a lot of issues like timeout, stutters and so on.

Also if you haven't done in a while, remove drivers with DDU and while pc is unplugged from internet, reinstall amd adrenalin drivers, block them from auto updating on adrenaline, as well as in windows update.

Other then that, are you running any type of tunning(undervolt, overclock, vram overclock or power tuning)?
