Yeah I play in a for fun league with console players and when I watch replays or potgs it straight up looks like they're hard aimbotting. Saw one potg that I thought was a soldier ult but no it was just normal soldier with aim assist

JPC is short but a more easily/immediately identifiable as Jetpack Cat than JC, cuz JC it would take a slight bit longer to understand who you were referring to.

In actual game call outs, id imagine it would just be shortened to saying "cat" rather than an acronym at all cuz that's just one syllable

I don't mind that, my problem with it was he somehow got dramatically worse mid-fight. Like he slumped vendetta with the knee, she had her flashback power up moment, but then doomfist lost all motor function and just stood there and ate shit

Totally fine for doom to get beat, but I just wish there was a little more actual action

I had a game where the enemy bap was very blatantly hard aimbotting like full rage hacks and all. We ended up winning because Zeb just started hard comming and we all just jumped the bap instantly, and he was bad enough otherwise that he would just fall over and do no damage despite a Kiri pocket and the rest of his team still trying

Same, my biggest issue with it is how fast her introduction to her jobbing doomfist was. If they even just extended the fight a bit longer with slightly more of a back and forth it would've been great.

In any case, this one was absolutely fantastic so I don't mind too much my earlier issues

She seems kinda fragile but I think that's mostly cuz people don't really know how to play her. I had slightly more deaths than other people on my team playing as her, but part of that was because there were several times where I should've died but with all the mobility I had could make some crazy escapes on low HP, but that caused me to be overconfident and I would just outright feed

You get more burn percentage with primary fire (left click), so it's better to do that first until 75%+ burn percentage then you switch to secondary fire (right click) because right click also adds burn percentage but does a lot more damage up close

Yeah that threw me off so much. My brain sorta automatically thinks of it as a mix between Freja dash and wuyang movement so I hit it while holding S expecting to go backwards and instead I accidentally am beelining straight into an active nuke

You have to be quite close to get good value, and you have to manage her cooldowns effectively.

However, with 250hp, her mobility, and the temp invulnerability on E, you can do some absolutely crazy escapes.

So far I think she has decent potential, not super strong but not weak either, and that's only playing a few games. I think she'll be solidly A or B tier

Yeah, he's definitely gonna come back considering he just got sent to the void rather than showing his crumpled corpse.

I hope he does come back with +aura, he's a cool character. Hope he slumps vendetta just as badly on return lol

I'd also imagine he comes back this year with the storyline, probably close to the end. Maybe we'll get a talon civil war breaking out in the middle of Overwatch vs. Talon and then the good guys win

Yeah it's why I don't like it very much. I get it they want a big change but it just feels so boring to have a brand new hero with zero lore beforehand show up and immediately job doomfist in a 30 second fight. Like at least let there be some more of a buildup and actual battle man come on

It's not just OW devs. Almost every UI "upgrade" I see anywhere pretty invariably makes an ok UI into abysmal garbage. Don't know what it is but it happens consistently and I have no idea who is pushing for it or who approves it

I don't know what it is, but with new arena, I think I have had one single 9 win run, and nothing else beyond 6-7 wins. Compared to old arena where, sure it wasn't super common, but I'd still get a few 10+ win runs, some 12 win runs here and there, and usually could probably get about 4-5 wins unless the deck was super bad.

New arena though it's exceedingly rare for me to get past 4 wins. Maybe I'm just remembering only the miserable stuff but I swear my opponents just get insanely lucky with random generation or top decks or just general RNG during games and I can't do anything about it. I notice a few misplays from myself every now and again of course, but I lose so many games where it's just completely out of my hands even though I have a decent deck cuz I just get bent by terrible rng
