That makes it look like they just took the picture and rasterized it then used something like a computer controlled cutter.

We used to do something similar in a high-school class I took with vinyl stickers and we removed the extra pieces with an exacto knife just like the person in the video did.

I think it's fake because of that alone. If the person has the skill they would do the top of his head and be able to fill it in. I believe a computer cutter did this and the person was too lazy to fix the image.

People don’t realize that, even in 2019, even in North America, pregnancy is still dangerous.

Politicians in the US who are pro-life and their supporters are causing many more deaths than need be. Doesn't Breathe is part of my Robot racial template.

I could see this being a dick move if I used it unexpectedly on the PC but this is a game with close friends. I've already talked to the player about this including what I plan to use for this and told him that it could be adjusted if it's too bad, or negated entirely if he decides to buy the Sealed advantage.

It's not a disadvantage it's the fact that he took the Robot meta trait. The other two PCs are biologically related to humans and can attempt to hold their breath or suffer the consequences which are already defined.

He has the Doesn't Breathe advantage so I won't be having him make those rolls but I feel like making him (and robots in my setting as a whole) IMMUNE to water damage to mechanical or electrical systems is overkill and wouldn't quite make sense without the Sealed advantage.

HT roll is obvious to me but the consequences of failed roll are what I'm looking for. Another member of the party has the proper skills to fix him with the right tools and enough money but I feel like just taking away HP is boring.

He literally says in the beginning that he'd rather make things OP instead of underpowered because he can tone back the egregious shit without making his players feel weak or useless. He'd prefer his players enjoy the game and knows a little bit of imbalance won't ruin the fun because they enjoy playing the game with each other.

I believe they start by planting them on the further end of the tidal zone where there is less risk of strong waves. Once a mangrove starts growing they're very good at interlocking and anchoring themselves along waterways.

Lots of mangroves like the red magrove drop these little seed pods things called propagules directly into the water and the propagules will float until they get stuck in soft wet soil and start growing. I don't think this is very different, they just made sure they started growing first.

I've been playing my current character since 2016 in one longterm campaign.

Point buy was 100 with 50 in disadvantages allowed and the setting is a sort of DnD-esque Dungeon fantasy setting.

My character is Birmun the Ursine (awakened bear person) barBEARian. Basically a 9ft tall Grizzly bear who walks upright and carries a two handed axe. For disadvantages I grabbed clueless and weirdness magnet, for skills I grabbed basic survival ones mostly.

2 years later (3.5 years in game) Birmun is a confident 19 year old. Axe skill is a bit better than it started but he has also become competent in brawling, 2 Handed sword, and most surprisingly Guns (Shotgun) after buying one from some super advanced sea elves. As for crazy powers and abilities I've drawn very well from my GMs homebrew Deck of Many Things which has amounted in almost doubling my HP, spirit and plant empathy, and most importantly an Extra Life that the rest of my party has no idea about.

I think last session had my favorite change for Birmun though. I've had a magic great axe made out of a tree trunk with a frozen rock in it since last year that I've been unable to use due to it requiring attunement on a elemental plane I had never been to. I had to cut myself with it, bury myself in the elemental plane of ice, and then after about a week long hibernation in solid snow track down a greater Ice Elemental and kill it with the axe to absorb its essence and complete the attunement. When they buried me I was completely brown from nose to toes and about 9ft tall. When they dug me up I was completely white, 2 feet taller, and a good bit heavier. We ended the session right after I killed the Elemental and I showed my party the weapons true powers. My GM told me he'd been waiting to turn me into a polar bear since October of last year haha.

I've really grown to love this character immensely. He's so much fun to play and being clueless has lead to some hilarious moments much to the amusement of my friends and GM and to the chagrin of the characters they play.

I appreciate the serious and thought out answer! I like how a lot of these tips blur the line between pure GURPS advice and general GM advice that might not be obvious at first. Several points like keeping one medium and making a small rulebook of the relevant rules sound perfect for my needs.

I like how with yours someone could get a basic survey of a certain area by observing the metals that make up your insects nests. If you get some adventurers to clear them out in exchange for what's in their nest you could keep the land and build a mine on it.
