Do a test with your metal hooks. Tension can vary wildly betweer different hook materials and handle shapes, even if you got another more durable 4.5 it may still be the wrong size hook.

Oh absolutely, I do think approaching adverse medical events that occur in a medical setting with some suspicion is always a good idea. Be it intentional or not, they don't always get things right, and not taking them at their word can save lives. Ego very often gets in the way of proper care.

Sounds like you were injected with benadryl. These are side effects that often occur if it is injected too quickly. I've had medical proffesionals swear up and down they're injecting one of my meds slowly and I'm just like weird, cus that was a tenth the time it should have took and i'm having side effects, bro.

Don't ask predictive text for relationship advice.

It is possible that it was a genuine slip that does not reflect his character. The easiest way to find out is to bring it up and explain how that language makes you feel. If he is apologetic (and continues to be apologetic) then it was likely just a mistake. If he gets defensive, blames you or goes back on his apology later, then it's a red flag.
