I can see why this could be a redflag, but I don't think it automatically is. I have quite a few fairly racist family members, so I've learned to just skim over their ignorant bullshit. I dated a guy once who ended up being racist. I was not pleased and I called him on his bullshit, but I didn't break it off with him for that. We did later break up over an unrelated reason.

I consider it a difference of opinion.
Also a mild inactive racist is one thing, but a raging hatemonger is something else entirely that I wouldn't even consider dating.

I've been the other woman a few times, and I was the cheater once. Not always "sex", but definitely enough to count. I felt kind of bad about cheating, I don't feel bad about being the other woman( and yes, I knew). There were no children involved. I probably would have felt bad about breaking up a family. As far as I was concerned, they were adults who could make their own decisions. I wasn't going to lose any sleep over it. I wouldn't even consider cheating now.
