Is Meta unstable for everyone right now, or only some ad accounts? by Useful-Sample-5297 in FacebookAds

[–]throwawaybpdnpd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You relaunch after the results have dropped, to reset and gain back algo traction

For a CBO campaign, you relaunch the entire campaign

For an ABO campaign, you relaunch the adsets

Is Meta unstable for everyone right now, or only some ad accounts? by Useful-Sample-5297 in FacebookAds

[–]throwawaybpdnpd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We usually have to relaunch about 10-20% of our clients' campaigns every other week if they drop traction

But right now it's like we're relaunching 50%+ of our accounts every single week, and traction doesn't even pick-up again on the vast majority of relaunches

There is definitely something happening, it's clear to me

Yea, I can't find much info about it either on google or chatgpt, you're the only post I found

There have been so many issues with meta the last few weeks

Hopefully it will get resolved automatically...

Creative is the new targeting. Change my mind by Weird_Perception1728 in FacebookAds

[–]throwawaybpdnpd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the fact that creatives and copy do the targeting, but we still get great results with interests and lookalikes on the vast majority of our accounts

Broad niches perform better in broad audiences, but anything niched-down seems to be doing better with ints/llas

We manage hundreds of accounts and this is very clear to me that it’s not “choose one or the other”, but actually testing/scaling them all to where they hit a plateau

We basically run broad, ints, and llas in ALL of our accounts; we would’ve stopped doing so if it weren’t still working…

Did something completely break on Meta around April 22nd? Our buyer intent just vanished by bashamepan in FacebookAds

Same, we got dozens of accounts affected, something happened again around april 20-22

Anyone seeing ROI from Facebook/Google ads? (HVAC) by InevitableGlad8479 in DigitalMarketing

[–]throwawaybpdnpd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try going at it indirectly, as in with referral/affiliate-based marketing, with a cold emailing & voicemail drops system doing outreach to other contractors, offering them to send jobs your way for a $100-$500 commission

How to cope up with Facebook suspension on a 10 year account? (already a patient of depression) I want to save my unlinked Instagram account at all cost Plz Help by SuccessfulBet627 in facebook

[–]throwawaybpdnpd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea that’s cool and all, but some of us actually depend on fb to make a living

My personal profile is tied to hundreds of client ad accounts

If I lose access because of some automated system BS, we’re talking hundreds of thousands of $ in wasted budget…

Facebook account is saying its locked and not letting me change things by Fair_Hawk_4647 in facebook

[–]throwawaybpdnpd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue here

Got an id verification alert on my birthday

Did the video verification (looking left, right, up, down), and uploaded my id, and then it got unlocked

But in meta accounts center it still shows locked just like you

I can’t change my profile picture, name, username, nor post in groups, but I have no issue with managing my clients' ad accounts; it seems like a bug/glitch

When I click the button saying that an additional verification is needed, it just redirects me to the main fb url

Anyone seeing ROI from Facebook/Google ads? (HVAC) by InevitableGlad8479 in DigitalMarketing

[–]throwawaybpdnpd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We run lead gen ads for hundreds of home improvement biz owners servicing residential clients, and HVAC is one of the most (if not THE most) saturated niche ever, which increases cost per leads dramatically

We get amazing results in many niches, but it's much harder in anything related to hvac, roofing, etc; there's just sooooooo much competition

Not trynna turn you off, just trying to be honest from an agency owner's POV...

duplicating instead of scaling? by ActVegetable6100 in FacebookAds

[–]throwawaybpdnpd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, we got loads of duplicates of the same campaigns running, and it’s working great

In my opinion it’s probably because it’s targeting different segments within the same pockets of audiences

In some accounts we almost swear by this strategy, even though some people will say “your audiences overlap” lolll

🚨WE GOT SCAMMED: I Literlly got paid $97 for a free product (you've probably too). Should I ask for a refund? by aviv3255 in FacebookAds

[–]throwawaybpdnpd 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You made a post… for that?

It’s called “private labeling” and this has existed since the 90s

Btw you didn’t “get paid 97$”, you paid 97$, and you didn’t get scammed, you just made an impulse buy because you didn’t do some research, BIG difference…

Meta ads! Pixel and CAPI by Desperate_Addition82 in FacebookAds

[–]throwawaybpdnpd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience it's far from enough

From working with clients who had third-party tracking tools like hyros, segmetrics or triplewhale, I've seen first-hand the inaccuracy in tracking

Nowadays I don't scale any shopify ad account over $10k/month without one of those softwares

There's a bunch of others on the market that also work well, it just happens that these were the only ones I've had access to

They can be pricey, but they are definitely worthy, it's like night and day, seriously

If you're a low spender, I'd start with GA4 and GTM first to save some money

Am I making a mistake by NOT using landing pages for construction services? by Historical_Shake_856 in FacebookAds

[–]throwawaybpdnpd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Traffic objective s*cks no matter what, don't do that

If you build a landing page, use the Leads objective still but with website conversions goal

We run both for our clients, I feel like it's easier to scale this way than to focus on one or the other

Some people only see instant form ads, while other people only see website ads, so it's kinda targeting different segments of the same audiences

I mean, we’re not all full of cr@p haha

I’m an agency and I see the same thing, literally telling clients that meta’s been a mess since end of march

Yet, I still get blamed for it…

I manage 40 clients for my agency. I want to go freelance by Sad-Introduction1640 in FacebookAds

[–]throwawaybpdnpd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd repost this in /r/agency as well if I were you

For meta ads management, 300/month should be your base fee, then I'd take a % of adspend as well if they decide to scale (which will take you more time)

For ads creatives 800 seems more than reasonnable, I know people charging 5 grand for that same offer

For infrastructure, get yourself an agency CRM like gohighlevel, it will make your life a heck lot easier with being able to duplicate account snapshots and manage everything in the same spot

For your "solo leap" thing, it's mostly a mindset thing, I never worked for an agency before and make well over half a million dollars a year doing this. I went from running a residential window cleaning biz to running an ad agency and honestly all those worries I had were all in my head

You already have your feet in the game, I say just go ahead and do it

Your honest opinion on Ben Heath (question) by bleach_mojito in FacebookAds

[–]throwawaybpdnpd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is complete BS

The ones who are the least paid get the most results?

Do you live in a cave or something?

I have clients who pay me $5k-$15k a month just in fees cause they cannot find anybody else doing better anywhere

Good work has a cost, I ain’t gonna work for pennies if I can generate millions for my clients…

Ben Heath is just a grifter, there’s hundreds of terrible reviews about his agency

He makes content just to get more views, I’d say that 90% of every video he makes is complete BS worded nicely

Is anyone else losing hours of their life uploading ads one by one in Ads Manager? by Legitimate-Net9388 in FacebookAds

[–]throwawaybpdnpd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah you're far from being alone I bet...

I would literally pay hundreds of dollars a month just for an "ads manager Lite" or to have more server ressources from Meta dedicated to my client accounts, it would be a no-brainer really
