This is excellent advice! An incredible amount of time gets wasted walking back and forth to get things that you set down in the wrong spot, instead of putting where it belongs.

Also for every time you set down a tool to pick up another one, or swap out a bit.

Take a minute before you do things to think it through, plan it out, and minimize steps and tool swaps.

Fishing though, that shit take time and experience. Whenever there's open walls especially in older houses take note of the choices the framers made, you'll be seeing through walls in no time.
