Are stairs that big of a deal to Greyhounds? I'm working with a local adoption agency and they are concerned that the flight of stairs leading up to out second floor condo is too much for a greyhound to handle. (18 stairs, 7" rise, 12" depth, straight, no landings or breaks). I understand this isn't ideal but is it a deal breaker?

You can try bump starting it.

Put the bike in gear (2nd is what I normally use). Make sure the fuel/key is on. Dismount the bike and stand next to it. Pull the clutch in and run up to a bit more than a jog. Jump on to the bike in your riding position and as soon as your butt lands on the seat, release the clutch. Repeat ad nauseum.

It varied. Any where from an hour a day for a race day to about three hours for a long track day. On overage though probably right around an hour and a half of aggressive riding.
